No, by design, the OIC is a global, virtual Oracle GRC, Security & Controls Practice. We have no employees. The Oracle GRC, Security & Controls Professional Contractors that we INVITE to join our network are our Strategic Partners (SP) and not employees. As our Strategic Partners, they share in revenue, and/or margins and equity in the OIC.
The OIC shares Percentage of Revenue with a strategic partner that refers a company to the OIC that results in a sale of OIC Consulting Services to that company. We feel that you should be rewarded the the cost and effort it takes you to develop these relationships. We consider you as a virtual OIC Sales Professional and you will share in all revenues generated by a company that you refer to the OIC.
We want to reward our Strategic Partners who actively work as Project Managers on one or more OIC owned projects. So, in addition, to their regualar hourly rates, these inividuals will have an opportunity to share in the Gross Margins generated by the OIC Projects that they actively manage.
We truly want to put together and maintain a world-wide network of elite Oracle Governance, Risk and Compliance, (GRC), Security and Controls Professionals as Strategic Partners of the OIC.
It is expensive to ensure that our Strategic Partners are trained properly to effective & efficiently use the Oracle GRC applications to implement GRC solutions. Therefore, we want to encourage our productive Strategic Partners to continue to seek Oracle GRC, Security & Controls contract work through the OIC.
Each Strategic Partner is allocated 1,500 hours per year as our baseline standard, which is simple 2080 hours less 10 holidays. This leaves us a balance of 2,000 hours. We use 75% utilitzation in our models. This, 75% of 2,000 hours is 1,500.
We determine how much equity (non-voting stock) we want to allocation to our Strategic Partners each years and then we allocate the amount based upon their utilization rates.
Yes, we recognize that we need help from our Strategic Partners to build the insfractructure that the OIC needs to continue to grow. Therefore, all Strategic Partners will also earn equity based upon the number of non-billable hours that they invest in the OIC. The calculation is the same as that used for Strategic Partners who are billable.
Currently, we do not charge any kind of fee to become a Strategic Partner. We are not in the business of selling Strategic Partners. Instead, you must be invited to join our team of Strategic Partners.
