  • Oracle GRC, Security and Controls Professionals

    June 5, 2011

    POSITION PURPOSE

    Deliver Oracle Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Internal Audit and Controls Review Management Professional Services as required by OIC’s clients.  Successfully complete key project mile stones such as scope audit projects, document business processes, identify risks and controls. Design audit test procedures and assess controls as required. Streamline and Automate GRC processes for OIC’s clients to maximize ROI. Additionally, perform project management functions.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Deliver project plan and manage resources and progress to the project plan
    • Perform GRC technical and functional duties as required by OIC clients
    • Setup internal controls environment based on OIC client requirements
    • Perform risk assessments
    • Develop audit plan and programs
    • Perform testing and evaluation of records
    • Design and conduct internal audits and write reports
    • Perform business analyst tasks in order to deliver solutions that meet client needs
    • Contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel
    • Understand engagement as it relates to client's business
    • Demonstrate and apply knowledge in areas of industry or functional specialty
    • Assume responsibility for client engagements. The responsibility will vary based on engagements
    • Perform functional knowledge transfer to both clients and the employees within the organization
    • Contribute to engagement planning and ensuring that deliverables meet contract/work plan
    • Undertake all required administrative tasks to manage a project
    • Mentor staff consultants the in related area
    • Deliver presentations to clients
    • Actively participate on sales calls to clients and prospective clients
    • Assists in business development activities by aiding in the creation of proposals and performing needs analysis tasks
    • Estimate time and cost required to accomplish a project
    • Arrange specification meeting with project team workers to determine scope and limitations of project
    • Recognize and communicate opportunities to sell 'add-on' work to client
    • Contribute to a positive team attitude
    • Contribute to OIC Insight research to maintain thought leadership in the GRC area

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Acquired a minimum of 4 years industry experience
    • Have managed at least one full internal controls implementation project
    • Ability to interact with management to make recommendations and to deliver information reports
    • Two to five years of Internal Audit experience required
    • Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or CFE preferred

     

  • Oracle GRC Business Development Manager

    POSITION PURPOSE

    This position is responsible for planning and executing tasks to generate revenue by developing new accounts through a variety of prospecting activities. The primary responsibility is to sell OIC’s products and services throughout the sales cycle from identifying client business needs, developing customized solutions, developing and presenting proposals, to negotiating and closing the deal.

    PERFORMANCE GOALS

    • Meet Revenue Quotas from operations in the assigned Target Market.
    • Development of OIC Brand Awareness in assigned territory through marketing campaigns such as executive presentations to prospective clients and alliance partners at industry events, social networking and webinars.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and revise sales plan for the assigned target market.
    • Responsible for understanding competitors* strengths and weaknesses and be skilled at articulating Fulcrum competitive advantage.
    • Demonstrate effective negotiation and closing techniques in securing profitable business (as needed).
    • Demonstrate strong analysis and judgment skills in developing sales strategies.
    • Build and maintain client relationships.
    • Build a reputation as an excellent client reference for potential clients.
    • Provide and maintain weekly status reports.
    • Prospecting, prequalifying, and following up with business leads in US and UK through telesales activities.
    • Seek out new sources of leads and generate call lists based on business qualifications.
    • Generate sales and exceed established quarterly goals.
    • Account analysis and strategizing with Client Director to increase percentage of closed accounts.
    • Track lead sources and provide weekly reports.
    • Measure the success of telesales activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
    • Responsible for following up with potential clients to maintain relationships.
    • Communicate with alliance partner, including Oracle field sales reps to make sure Oracle leads are qualified.
    • Travel to Oracle offices in the assigned target market to work with Oracle sales teams.
      Assist with other Business Development activities as needed, such as managing social networking sites and webinars.
    • Do what is necessary to maintain company operation.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • An outgoing and persuasive telephone personality
    • 5+ years sales or telesales experience specifically in the software services industry, knowledge of Oracle a big plus
    • Experience with prospecting and closing high volume deals
      Massive DRIVE to succeed a must
    • Bachelor*s degree preferred Bachelors degree in marketing, journalism, public relations, communications or similarly relevant field is proffered.
    • Experience with a professional services firm

    SKILLS

    • An understanding of marketing campaign management concepts and practices
    • Flexibility to manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent oral/written communications skills
    •  Familiarity with social networking sites and webinar production
    • Work credibly and effectively with people at all levels and in all regions of the organization

    COMPENSATION

    The OIC does not have any employees.  Instead of a salary, you will receive generous commissions based upon the revenue generated by the deals you close. You will also have the opportunity to share revenue and earn equity in the OIC.

    This position also gives you the flexibility to generate a second source of income with a flexible working schedule.
