Auditors

ORACLE FOR AUDITORS

Audit Profession is Demanding

The Audit Profession is very demanding.  Auditors must know accounting practice, principles, and theory.  Moreover, they are expected to be proficient with internal control frameworks such as COSO and CobiT. Similarly, they must be proficient with laws and regulations such as HIPAA, SOX, PCI, ITAR and many others.

Oracle Database and E-Business Security / Oracle and Industry Best Practices for Application Configuration

The Audit procession is even more difficult for auditors who have to audit firms that use Oracle Technology and/or Applications.  Oracle Technology, Applications and their business processes are extremely complex, which require highly talented Oracle Professionals to implement to ensure that security is maintained for the Oracle Database and E-Business Suite.  Similarly, it requires that Oracle Professionals understand the Oracle and Industry best practices for application configuration.
